Apply to join Vast full-time as a 2024 Engineering Graduate. 25 positions available for a July 2024 start

Vast is growing our engineering team at speed to deliver our first space station, Haven-1, which will provide microgravity and Lunar artificial gravity environments. This is a unique opportunity for qualified and committed graduates to join Vast full-time to directly contribute to designing and building Haven-1.
We are committed to investing in emerging talent and empowering students to help us push the boundaries of space exploration. Our early career program provides a launchpad for ambitious individuals to delve into space innovation through immersive hands-on experiences, mentorship from industry leaders, and the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects.
Upon application, various team leaders will review your application, including resume, skills, and portfolio. Applicants who are a match for our available teams will be invited to a phone screen with a recruiter, before moving to a phone or Zoom interview with the team. If successful, candidates will then be invited to an on-site half-day tour & interview with the Vast team at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. New hires will start in July 2024.

About Vast
Founded in 2021 by Jed McCaleb, Vast is developing humanity’s next-generation space stations and pioneering the path to long-term living and thriving in space. Haven-1, scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station, is currently in development and is expected to launch NET May 2026. Vast is also developing Haven-2, the proposed successor to the International Space Station (ISS), designed to serve NASA’s Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) program as a micro-gravity laboratory in space. Vast’s long-term ambition is to create artificial gravity habitations that enable humans to live in space, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring a spacefaring future for all.
